Elephants are exceptionally social creatures with strong family and group bonds. These are strengthened through tactile communication as emphasised in this fortuitously timed image of three females greeting and reassuring each other.
I trekked 10 kilometers one way in very difficult terrain and climbed 1000 meters to reach this summit towering above fishing villages Reina and Hamnoy in Lofoten Islands, Norway. I was rewarded by a spectacular show of Aurora Borealis. What I liked the most was the 'harmony' of city lights are lights from heaven in this beautiful rugged landscape.
The Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland, more recently famous as Kings road in the Game of Thrones Television series.
I had been waiting here since 5am, waiting for the perfect light and hoping that there would not be too many photographers, tourists and coaches before then. I got lucky and had picked a rare, quiet morning and still find it hard to put into words just how I felt being here alone with my camera.
Fine art portrait of Izzy.Taken in front of the window. My idea for this photo was to create ordinary portrait with extraordinary effect , highlight one element which will dominate and it's her face expression .
Al-Ula is located in the north western region of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is approx 29,000 sq.km in size (similar to the size of Belgium) and is home to an endless amount of remote beautiful canyons that contribute to its outstanding natural beauty, monumentality and geological diversity.
Driving passed some farm on the country side of Scotland i found this wintery road with naked trees and foggy horizon. I made id black and white because i belive that all what matters in this image is contour and contrast.
The bridge has the name of István Széchenyi, a major supporter of its construction, attached to it, but is most commonly known as the "Chain Bridge". At the time of its construction, it was regarded as one of the modern world's engineering wonders. It has asserted an enormous significance in the country's economic, social and cultural life, much as the Brooklyn Bridge has in New York and United States of America. Its decorations made of cast iron, and its construction, radiating calm dignity and balance, have elevated the Chain Bridge to a high stature in Europe.
This Image was taken in Pench National park , Maharastra , India in Jan 2018.
This image was created when there is a back light to the deers and they were grazing to my eye level. bro to have a feel i raised my temperature in camera to the max and under exposed to the max n made a shot to get the desired image
The photographs show a dark, somewhat unexpected, side of London’s famous landmarks, the harsh industrial past and breath-taking memorials of history. The captures are sorrowful and almost secretive side of yearning.
Lilac-breasted roller lands on branch carrying grasshopper
A lilac-breasted roller carrying a dead grasshopper in its beak lifts its wings to take off from the leafy branch of a bush. It has brown eyes, a grey beak, a white crown, lilac breast, turquoise and blue wings and long tail feathers. Shot with a Nikon D810 in Tarangire National Park in Tanzania in January 2018.

Whilst I was in Lisbon last year, I wanted to get a picture of people travelling on the trams. Despite taking photos of passing trams at any given opportunity throughout my stay, none of them particularly inspired me - so I decided to dedicate my final morning to getting the shot that I wanted. I spent nearly two and a half hours standing on the same street corner photographing the passing trams - it was only through sheer blind luck that I was standing in the right place at the right time, when this particular tram came along and the girl in the window stared directly at me as I was taking the photo. I knew then that I had my shot.
Annapurna I Main is the tenth highest mountain in the world at 8,091 metres (26,545 ft) above sea level, and was the first of the Eight-thousanders to be climbed at 3 June 1950
by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal,First winter ascent 3 February 1987 Jerzy Kukuczka and Artur Hajzer.
Historically, the Annapurna peaks are among the world's most dangerous mountains to climb, although in more recent history, using only figures from 1990 and after, Kangchenjunga has a higher fatality rate. By March 2012, there had been 191 summit ascents of Annapurna I Main, and 61 climbing fatalities on the mountain. This fatality-to-summit ratio (32%) is the highest of any of the eight-thousanders
This guy had in his time been a professional musician. Now he was confined to begging. His daughter had bought him a Calvin Klein case for his flute. But he didn't really want his portrait taken, feeling that he had come down in the world. I thought he had nothing to be ashamed of.
What's left of Brighton pier making an appearance through the morning fog.
Rather a sad story. 2003 was a catastrophic year for the West Pier. On 28th March the Pavilion was destroyed in an arson attack.
Many photographers "chase the light" on this occasion i felt like i caught it. I had spend the afternoon chasing storms around the north west UK which led me to Talcre light house where i witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets ive ever seen.
We had heard about this gorgeous lady throughout the day as we drove round Kruger Park but no one had seen her. As we crossed a bridge on our way to the gates, we scoured the trees and got a glimpse of her perching in the shade. The last shot of the day, and I can safely say I ended on a high.
The composition shows set of nine round windows (called oculus), which I found in Saint-Louis Church in Boulogne. The set of photographs symbolises the moon phases, which in some cultures (for example Maya Indian) refers to the mid-wife cycle because its duration represents the time of conception to the birth of a child.
This photograph was taken in Hamnoy in the Lofoten Islands in March 2018. I was fortunate to have the clouds part briefly as the sun was setting, which gave me about 15 minutes of beautiful light. Being near the water I used a long exposure to exaggerate the movement of the boats and clouds.
- The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
- Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
More recently, we have made an improvement and now we have a new feature - "Series uploading." Even now, you can download from 3 to 10 photos in the series, united by a common idea. Voting for the series will take place separately from other series in their nominations. vote principle remains the same as for single photos. At the moment, series uploading is available for nominations: "Children's Photography", "Wild Animals", "Staged Photography" and "Reportage photo". This feature is available for any improved account.
